Appel d'air
The Appel d'aiR programme aims to engage transport and logistics professionals (shippers, freight forwarders, river and rail companies, transporters, publishers, territories) in digital assistance for modal shift to rail and river to improve their energy and environmental performance.
The programme is structured around the following axes:

Awareness of digital tools as a source of progress and performance

The definition of technical solutions to manage modal shift

Support for the use of a common platform to facilitate modal shift

Valuing the reduction of GHG emissions, thanks to digital assistance
Its objectives:

To build the digital platform for simulation and networking between shippers/carriers/rail-river and river actors for modal shift

To identify numerically the freight eligible for modal shift by rail and river passing through the France territory up to 2,000,000,000 tonne-kilometres

To label and connect 200 companies to the platform

To equip/finance actors to connect and use the platform to increase the modal share of freight transport in France
